I think that Alma 41: 8 should be cross referenced with D&C 130: 7.

The footnote at Alma 41: 10b should also include Deuteronomy 32: 8-9.

We read in the previous two verses (Mormon 9:7,8) that the gospel of Christ is revelations, prophecies, gifts, healings, speaking and interpreting tongues
…if we are NOT experiencing these things personally or within the church than
WE have changed, altered, or varied from the gospel of Christ.
