Son of the Morning

Early, while it was still dark, on this Easter morning the Lord returned to life. He whose life was unjustly taken from Him as a willing sacrifice, reclaimed this day His life as a matter of eternal justice. The grave could not hold Him, because it had no just claim upon Him.

He brought about mercy, because of the price He paid that was not His to pay. He merited eternal life, and it was taken, in violation of the law of justice, from Him.

When He arose early that morning He became the True Son of the Morning. One who opened a new day for all who ever lived, and would die. He is the author of the resurrection, and our Great Benefactor. He has given us hope.

In Him is Life and Light.
